DAY 3 RECAP

DAY 3 RECAP

3 Days of Design
Copenhagen | 10 – 12 June, 2026..

A cultural and sensory glimpse from Architexture Design Atelier of the third day of last week’s 3daysofdesign. Dedicated to craftsmanship, texture and cultural exchange.

At THE RESIDENCE OF BEAUTIFUL SOUND by Bang & Olufsen, set within a remarkable historic private residence, craftsmanship, innovation and culture came together in a truly memorable experience. A live demonstration of hand-engraved Japanese patterns on exclusive loudspeakers beautifully illustrated how tradition and contemporary design can coexist, reflecting values close to Architexture Design Atelier’s own design philosophy. The experience was further elevated by the soulful live performance of Coco O.

At Japan Creative Association, authentic material-based Japanese craftsmanship and inspiring conversations about the heritage and possibilities of washi paper offered a deeper appreciation of the relationship between materiality, culture and making.

A brief culinary sensory experience at Noma Projects provided a fascinating insight into experimentation, innovation and craftsmanship through its pioneering test kitchen and fermentation laboratory.

The day concluded with a very enjoyable and relaxed Wind-Down Gathering hosted by MEET2BUILD by Carina Bruun and Birgitte Bjerregaard at DesignWerck. Surrounded by fellow design professionals, meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing and new connections provided the perfect ending to an inspiring festival.

Grateful to have shared so many meaningful encounters, conversations and experiences throughout this year’s design festival. Thank you, 3daysofdesign — you truly made this moment matter!
