DAY 2 RECAP

3 Days of Design.
Copenhagen | 10 – 12 June, 2026.

An inspiring and sensory glimpse from Architexture Design Atelier of the second day of last week’s 3daysofdesign. Dialogue and shared values between Japanese and Danish design, connected through materiality, simplicity and a deep respect for making.

At White Label Project, the exhibition FEMALE DESIGN FUTURES, curated by Ann-Kathrin Zotz, presented works by 14 international women artists. A powerful perspective on contemporary art, celebrating female voices and narratives rooted in cultural heritage, local craftsmanship and sustainable approaches to creation.

A unique highlight of this year’s festival was the TYPE-XIII Atelier Oï Project by A–POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE – Issey Miyake led by Yoshiyuki Miyamae. Through an extraordinary exhibition and workshop experience, innovation, technology and craftsmanship were seamlessly woven into a poetic and tactile design language. Such a beautiful exhibition and a truly memorable encounter.

The LIGHTSCAPE exhibition by Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg by Friederike Klesper offered a delicate exploration of porcelain craftsmanship, where origami-inspired forms, lightness, and precision came together in a refined expression of beauty and material mastery.

The day concluded with A MOVING PRESENCE, presented by Karimoku Case in the new Dynaudio Space designed by Norm Architects. The immersive soundscape explored the dialogue between furniture, sound and architecture. A beautifully curated sensory experience where materiality and acoustics resonated in harmony, demonstrating how meaningful design engages all the senses.
