The Japanese Design Festival – Shokunin, is a tribute to traditional and modern design with a focus on quality, on the use of natural materials, and on thoughtful consumption. The word ‘Shokunin’ means to create. Founded by the Seidokan Japan Center in Copenhagen, it is a non-commercial initiative created to support soulful craftsmanship, and the artisans behind them.

This year, 26 selected designers and artists will exhibit a wide range of original art, crafts and design. You can meet:
